Elastic evening-up mortar
• CEKOL ZW-05 is used for levelling uneven areas on walls, ceilings and floors, both indoors and outdoors.
• It is particularly recommended for filling cavities and levelling uneven spots in the surfaces of balconies and terraces, areas around windows, entrance doors, etc.
• The mortar can be applied to mineral substrates, such as concrete substrates and brick substrates, and used for levelling uneven areas in cement-lime plasters and flooring underlay; it can also be used with underfloor heating systems.
• CEKOL ZW-05 is a factory-produced dry mixture of cement, fine aggregate and modifying additives, which enhance adhesion to substrate.
Application
Preparation of the substrate
The substrate should be clean, compact, and free of grease. Oil paint, distempers and loose sand grains must be removed.
Priming
Strongly absorbing substrates should be primed with a deep-penetrating primer CEKOL DL-80.
Preparation of the mortar
Prepare the mortar by pouring 1 kg of the powder into approx. 0.2 litre of water (1 litre of water per 5 kg bag) and thoroughly mixing. Wait a moment, and then mix again. The mortar thus prepared should be used within approx. 2 hours. If it thickens during this time, it should be stirred without adding more water.
Application
Apply the mortar to the prepared substrates with a trowel or float and smooth the surface. You can apply a layer with thickness of up to 10 mm at a time. After initial setting, the surface can be smoothed. A fresh layer requires curing typically applied to cement mortars. Coverage: approx. 1.7 kg/m2 for 1 mm of layer thickness. Work temperature and substrate temperature: +5 C ÷ +25 C.

After complete setting and hardening has occurred, you can proceed with further works.
